The top bowlers in the world recognize that the ability to concentrate for the duration of a long competitive tournament can create many problems. These concentration problems are caused by in appropriate attentional focus. Instead of focusing on the proper signals and cues in the competitive arena they are distracted by thoughts, other events and emotions. Understanding some of the typical problems bowlers have in controlling and maintaining their focus before entering competition is a tremendous advantage rather than attempting to learn the problems during the competition by trial and error. Winning Or Losing May Be Decided By A Brief Loss Of Concentration! Most highly skilled athletes have a low tolerance for people. Their tolerance for high-intensity training and for pushing themselves is extremely high. When it comes to accepting faults or perceived faults in other people, their tolerance is often lower. When ask about personal strengths and weaknesses, many World-Class bowlers responded their strength as "determination" and their weakness as "intolerance of others." The common goal of any team should be to get the best performance from each person which would in turn result in the best performance for the team.
