 The spine should remain aligned at approximately 15-degree angle however the knees and hips bend more during the fourth step and finish to approximately a 45-degree angle.
The additional
knee bend during the fourth step and finish is more a lowering of the buttocks than a bending of the knees. A mental image to develop is that of sitting back in a chair.
